He was Christ-like in his attitudes toward others and tried to always find the good in family members and friends.Mitch completed a bachelors and masters degree in accounting at Utah State University and was currently employed as CFO at Carbon One Industries in Kennewick, WA, where he and his family had lived for about five years.Mitch married Monique Pacheco on Dec. 8, 2001 and adopted the little daughter Monique brought to the marriage. They eventually had three more children, two sons and another daughter. Mitch and Monique were sealed in the Timpanogos LDS Temple on Dec. 28, 2002. They were later divorced.Mitch loved his children and was a very involved dad. He loved coaching his sons in little league sport and was proud of their developing skills. He was very concerned for their welfare and wanted them to grow both physically and spiritually. He wanted them to know that he loved them and was concerned for their welfare.Mitch was preceded in death by his father, Maynard Bennett; his paternal grandfather, Allan Bennett; maternal grandparents, Herman and Geneva Viehweg; three uncles; and three cousins.
