DOUSMAN - Milton F. Gregory, 88, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016. Milt was a resident at the Masonic Health and Rehab Center in Dousman, WI. Milt was born on January 17, 1928. He began working at Western Publishing Company in 1944 as a Journeyman photographer in the litho area. After 47 years, he retired as Third Shift Superintendent for the Racine Plant. On May 19, 1951, he was united in marriage to Joan D. Boese. He was an active member of the Masonic Lodge. He was Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery of Wisconsin 1989/90. He was the Commander of the Racine Commandery #7 in 1959, and Worshipful Master of Racine Belle City Lodge. He was the Commander of the Racine Belle City Lodge #7 in 1959. Among his many honors, Milt was holder of the Knight Templar Cross of Honor. He served as High Priest in 1969 and 1986 in Orient Chapter #12. Milt served for 17+ years as the Grand Secretary and Recorder of the York Rite Bodies of Wisconsin. Milt enjoyed golfing and gardening. He was a former Park Commissioner for Mount Pleasant/Caledonia. He is survived by his wife and his daughter, Joanie Johnson (Lanny). Milt was proceeded in death by a son, Milton L. Gregory; a daughter, Janet L. Snyder (Michael); his parents, Franklin and Martha Gregory (nee: Polzin); a brother; and several sisters. Funeral services will be held for Milton on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM with a visitation for family and friends to start at 10:00 AM all to be held at the Ewald Chapel, Three Pillars in Dousman, Wisconsin. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park in Racine, Wisconsin. Memorials in Milton's honor are sugested to the family or to the Ewald Chapel. Pagenkopf Funeral Home 1165 E.
