Milton was born January 22, 1998 to his loving mother Latoya Jones (Weems) and Father Micheal Kent. Milton had a love for music and dreamed to become a rapper one day. On March 3, 2019 Mitlon did not show up for church and hours later he was found left for dead, after a week in doctors care at Stroger Hospital the Lord called him home. He was an only child and was very well loved. He loved and was talent in football as well as basketball. Intelligent loved to read, write music and watch Anime. His life was one that ended so tragic and extremely early but he lived life to the fullest. We wish we had more time, but forever he will be in our hearts. He will be remember through his talent and bright smile.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, LaToya and Tim Weems, Ogema; his father, Michael Kent, Regina; paternal grandmother, Nancy Humphrey, Regina; maternal grandmother, Linda Houston, Lumsden; great-grandmother, Mildred Howard, Lumsden; two step brothers, Timothy Weems, and Brian Friend; two stepsisters, Melody and Melinda Fields and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, Pete and Shirley Lawson, Kenneth Lundblad and R.J. Humphrey.
Services will be held at 8 a.m., Sunday, March 31, 2019. at the Gatlings Funeral Home, Chicago IL
Rev. Oscar Thomas will officiate.
Burial will be in the Cedar Park Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be, Christopher Edwards, Levi Lawson, Matt Weems, Matt Susky and Charlie Clovin.
