Candelaria, Miguel Miguel Candelaria, 79, was born on January 20, 1938 in Socorro, Texas to Reynaldo Candelaria and Isabel Fresquez. He passed on March 29, 2017 in Gilbert, AZ with his loving family by his side. Miguel proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper. He retired from General Motors after 30 years and went on to be a booster for Cathedral High School in Los Angeles, CA. After moving to AZ, he then retired from Target after 10 years. He is survived by his wife, Gloria, of 56 years; his 5 children Loretta, Carol, Richard, Jennifer, and Robert; his 7 grandchildren Jason, Tiffany, Jacob, Rebecca, Joshua, Jordan, and Joseph; 4 brothers and 4 sisters and many other family members. A viewing will be held in Miguel's honor Monday, April 3, 2017 from 5pm-8pm with a Rosary being held at 7:00pm at Mariposa gardens; 400 S. Power Rd. Mesa, AZ.
