Michelle Mazzeo, aka Micki, passed at the age of 48, on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, in Jacksonville, Florida, after a three year battle with breast cancer.
Michelle was born on August 21, 1970, and is survived by her parents, Carmen Mazzeo and Jeanne Mazzeo; her siblings, James Mazzeo and Jeannette (Mazzeo) Colgan; as well as eight nieces and nephews.
Michelle attended Clara Barton Elementary School, Queen of Heaven School, graduated from Camden Catholic High School in 1989, and attended Camden County Community College. She resided in Cherry Hill, NJ, Coventry, CT, Manchester, CT, and in Jacksonville, FL.
Micki had a contagious smile and lasting sense of humor. She loved making jewelry, which she sold in gift shops and often gifted to friends and family. She collected beautiful things such as angles, gemstones, and vintage prints. She loved all things magical and mystical; on the photos tab are several such images she had posted on social media. She worked in various administrative positions until Lyme Disease limited her mobility. Despite the difficulty, in Jacksonville she was always determined to spend time near the St. John's river, visit the quaint area of Riverside, visit vintage shops, and see movies and plays.
Relatives and Friends are invited to celebrate Micki's life on Saturday, October 6, 2018, in her childhood hometown of Cherry Hill, NJ. Please see the "Services" page.
