Michael Thaddeus FreiriPort Hueneme, CAA lifelong resident of Port Hueneme California. Michael was born on May 19, 1966 in Ventura, California. The son of Manuel and Catherine Freiri, who proceeded Michael in death. Michael is survived by brother Robert Anthony, Sister in law Bridget, Niece Christiana (Tiana) Elizabeth and Nephew Nicholas Manuel.Mike was a Claims Adjuster for State Compensation Insurance Fund for 15 years. However, he was much more than that. He was an amazing brother, Uncle, cousin, friend, nephew, co-worker, faithful servant of the Lord and a lector and catechist?at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Mike would bring 'communion' & friendship to shut ins. Mike would also grow his hair out and cut it and donate it to "Locks of Love". Mike was in the United States Army in the 36th Medical Company as a medic. He was also in the 57th Medical Detachment as a flight medic in the Medevac unit at Ft Bragg, North Carolina. Mike was a graduate of Hueneme High, Class of 1984 where he played football all four years. A true Renaissance Man: A Chief, a baker, a cook, a mechanic, a horticulturist, a lover of animals and music and a faithful member of the Raider Nation.?Mike was truly selfless and generous, he would help anyone in need and was an immediate friend to all he came across. A Vigil and recitation of the Rosary will take place at Camino del Sol Funeral Home on Sunday, February 19, at 7:00 p.m. The family will greet friends from 6:00 til' 9:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Catholic Church on Monday, February 20th at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Otto & Son's, Camino del Sol 200 North C Street, Oxnard (805) 483-3443
