Michael Pitifer, Jr. LUBBOCK-Michael Pitifer, Jr. passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016. Family and friends will gather to recite The Holy Rosary Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016, at 7 p.m. with a reception to follow at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Mass will be celebrated to honor his life of 60 years at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church. Michael was born on Feb. 19, 1956, to Michael and Joyce Pitifer in Geneva, NY. On July 30, 1999, Michael married the love of his life, Cindy Trammel in Lubbock, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Cindy Pitifer; children, Alicia Broughton and husband, Barry, Briana Pitifer, Justin Rice, Evan Davis and wife, Brooke, and Lorin Davis; grandchildren, Mason, Conner, and Ella McDonald, Jackson Davis, and Caleb Broughton; mother, Joyce Pitifer; and siblings, Elizabeth Williams and husband, Leonard, Jr., Tony Pitifer and wife, Paula Ann, and Jim Pitifer and wife, Rhonda. He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Pitifer, Sr.
