Michael JensenMichael Patrick Jensen, 38, passed away at a friend's home in Pocatello, Idaho on July 6, 2014. He was born on March 17, 1976 in Pocatello, Idaho. Michael was raised in Pocatello and attended Pocatello High School as well as Idaho State University. He worked at Icon Health and Fitness in Logan, Utah and at Smiley Creek above Sun Valley, Idaho. Until his heart became too week, he loved the outdoors and being in the Sawtooth mountains. He loved animals and enjoyed all the funny things he observed them do. In his life, he had pets of all kinds, many of which he had saved and brought home to live long and well loved lives. Michael is survived by his mother, Carol; a sister Michele (Ron) Lundberg and their four children and five grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Debbie Johnson and her children and grandchild; a close friend Nickcole Mahan and her three children, Michael, Aizlynn, and Jameson; a large number of aunts, uncles, and cousins from both sides of the family. Mike has a large, happy group who preceded him in death and are there to meet him, his father, Walter; a brother, Mark; his grandparents, Walter & Hattie Jensen and Kenneth & Roxie Critchell; two uncles, Ed Critchell and Wilbert Jensen; and his cousin, Guy Greenough; one black lab and many cats. Michael wished to be cremated and his ashes spread somewhere in the Sawtooth mountains of Idaho.Arrangements are under the direction of the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello, 232-0542.
