Michael A. DeChristopher, age 51, passed away at his home in Belle Chasse, Louisiana, surrounded by his family on Sunday, October 30, 2016. He was born on November 22, 1964 in Antigua and raised in Fort Pierce, Florida by Charles and Faith DeChristopher. He married Bridget DeChristopher on June 16, 2000. Mike served in the Navy as a young man. From the Navy, he joined the Air National Guard, 159th Fighter Wing, where he recently retired as a MST SGT. Mike loved collecting, cleaning, and shooting guns; chocolate shakes; and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Bridget; son, Zachary DeChristopher; step children, Brittany (Jason) Gullo with grandson Jason, Hillary (Joey) Stifflemire, and Chancelor Boudreaux; brother, Jeff DeChristopher; and sister Lisa DeChristopher with nieces Emily and Sophia Sharrer. Friends and family are invited to Exceleration Church, 202 Woodland Hwy, Belle Chasse, LA 70037 on Saturday, November 5, 2016 for a time of visitation from 10 am until 12 pm, followed immediately by a memorial service.
