"Bud" Gossman, 93, of Port Huron, passed away on November 10, 2016 in McLaren Port Huron Hospital with his family by his side.He was born on February 24, 1923 in Port Huron, son of the late George and Lauretta Gossman.Bud married Amelia Emerick on March 24, 1947 in Port Huron.He served honorably in the United States Army during World War II. George retired from Grand Truck Western Railroad after 39 years of service. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and the American Legion Post #8. Bud enjoyed fishing, hunting, canning, cooking and gardening.Bud is survived by his wife, Amelia "Millie" Gossman of Port Huron; daughter, Judith Archer of Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Steve (Kathi) Gossman of Port Huron; daughter, Deborah Trentman of Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Susan (Ken) Durkee of Kimball; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a grandson, David Enders and an infant daughter at birth.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Ave. @ 17th Street, Port Huron. Pastor Mark L.
