On this day Tuesday April 7,2020 my oldest brother (Sonny)Melvin Andrew Siemssen Jr passed away from the covid-19 virus at the age of 70.He was a life long resident of the New Orleans Area as well as a member of the Jo Ellen Smith retirement community. Melvin Jr is proceeded in death by his parents Melvin Andrew Siemssen Sr and Evelyn Siemssen. Grandparents  Lloyd and Anna Siemssen . Brother Jon Siemssen. Sonny is survived by his beloved brothers and sisters Kathleen Giovengo, Stephen Siemssen, Christopher Siemssen, Brian Siemssen,Elizabeth 'Betsy' Dominique, Karen Biles, and Lisa Siemssen. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews as well as 'Great'. Funeral arrangements will be made by the family at a later date.
