Melinda A. Jordan, 47, passed on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at home. She was employed as a customer service rep most of her working years. Melinda’s life was not in vain. She generously shared and lovingly provided care for her family and others. Melinda is preceded by her grandmother and two uncles. She is survived by her mother Shelley (Alan) Harris, father Elmore Jordan, Jr., aunt Deborah Thurston, children, Darrick Jordan, Dellynio Hollingsworth, Johnna Reedus; fiancé Anthony Olds; 10 grandchildren; sisters Monica (Lamont) Collier, Shelley Jordan, Shawn Jordan, Carletta Hagans, half-sisters Kalice and Chassdie, half-brothers Elmore, Terrance, Trevalin (Mook) and Rokeem; a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends. Viewing July 21, 2020 at 11 am at Evans Funeral Home, 4171 E. Livingston Ave. Funeral Services begin at 12 noon. After services Interment Evergreen Cemetery, 1340 Woodland Avenue, at Woodward Avenue.
