>Maxine Fletcher LUBBOCK-Maxine Fletcher, 71, of Lubbock passed away Friday, Nov. 18, 2016. She was born on April 30, 1945, to the late Curtis McDaniel and Ada William McDaniel in Dallas, Texas. She moved to Sudan with her parent in 1947. Maxine loved fishing and spending time with her family and friends. Maxine is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Rebecca Ann Dixon; and nephew, Tyrone McDaniel. Maxine leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Edward Williams; two daughters, Linda Harper (Willie) and Chrysla Fletcher; three sisters, Earnestine Johnson, Alice McDaniel, and Rita Adams; one brother, Curtis McDaniel; 13 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; 23 nieces; 10 nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary Chapel. Private Disposition will follow under the direction of Griffin Mortuary.
