Maxine M. andersZANESVILLE: Maxine M. Anders, 83 of Zanesville died at 9:15 PM Monday, June 08, 2015 at the Willow Haven Nursing Home following a long illness.She was born on February 18, 1932 in White Cottage the daughter of Zalmon and Mary Estella Autherr Dalton.Maxine was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to bake, cook, crochet, sew and especially liked to bake for friends and family. She is survived by two sons, Bernard (Erica) Anders Jr. and Jon (Lora) Anders; five grandchildren; Mackenzi, Jessica, Jesse, Jeremy and Joshua; and two great grandchildren Tanner and Lane, a brother Harold Dean Dalton and her pet dog Charlie. Maxine was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by eight brothers and sisters; Francis, Wendell, John, James, Marguerite, Lucille, Romayne and Rosalind.Family will receive friends from 10 to 10:30 am on Monday, June 15, 2015 at the St. Nicholas Catholic Church, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:30 AM with Fr. Martin Ralko as celebrant. Private burial will conclude at the Mt. Olive Cemetery.In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to The Muskingum County Animal Shelter Society, 1430 Newark Rd. Zanesville OH 43701.
