Max L. Smith went to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, Dec. 12, 2016. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Chapel. Memorial Mass: 5 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 5508 Black Oak Lane, River Oaks, Texas. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Saginaw Lion's Club in Max's name. Max was born on May 29, 1946, in Limestone, Maine, to Sam and Florence Smith, both deceased. Max was a long time active member of the Lions Club of Saginaw. He was loved by many and will be truly missed. Survivors: Beloved wife of 34 years, Virginia Ann Smith; children, Chuck Todd and wife, Laura, Tony Smith and wife, Shelly and Michael Smith; grandchildren, Zachary, Anthony, Macie, Mason and Carson; siblings, Peggy, Janie, Mary and Robert.
