CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF LADY G
A unique smile you'd notice miles away. Most knew her as "Gena" others closer to her loved calling her "Lady G". Mathurine Justin, 46, of Kingshill, Saint Croix Island, passed Thursday, January 23, 2020. Mathurine was born to Eustache Perpie, and Rosasline Perpie, November 27, 1973 in Castries, St. Lucia. She married Athanasius Obeius, and they lived together in Castle Burke. Mathurine is survived by 4 children: Kishma Perpie, Jareem Perpie, Meshac Justin, and Sammy Obeius. It can't be said that she didn't live with love, style, and strength. Strong was an understatement when she had 4 sisters and 3 brothers growing up with. They built her into the woman she was. "BEEP BEEP" Whenever you see her on the roads of St. Croix, wearing one of her favorite big shades. Her voice was one you cannot forget, unique indeed. Whether she was having a decent conversation or shouting at someone, you'd know for sure who it was, definitly Gena. A peacemake? Far fro it, however her love was indeed unconditional. Some things we cannot forget about her is, being a part of Abramson Enterprise driving the school buses. She was everyone's favorite bus driver and known as the lady who made the best ice pops in a bag. Three handsome boys and one beautiful daugther were well taken care of and respectful. She love her neices and nephews like they were her very own. She was one of those you can pick up the phone to come to the rescue and in no time she's there. She was everything after being a mother. All the jewelry, vehicles and her house came from her hard work over the years. Any obstacle that came here way she fought but sadly, her last fight was the most high calling her home. We will remember you for who you were to us. For defending yours right or wrong, for giving hand when you could've and for returning you ever-lasting love. You will never be forgotten, Rest in Style Lady G.
