MaryAnn "Nana" Goke, 73, a lifetime resident of Las Vegas and a current resident of Grants went to be with our Lord on April 27, 2016.She was born on May 2, 1942, to the late Ignacio and Bertha Duran.She is preceded in death by her parents, Ignacio and Bertha Duran of Las Vegas, Manuel and Nina Sena of Las Vegas; son, Richard H. Goke of Las Vegas, and brother, Joe Duran of Grants.She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Goke of Rio Rancho; sons, Marvin Goke/Angie Valdez of Rio Rancho, and Manuel Goke of Albuquerque; her grandchildren, Richard Goke of Albuquerque, Jonathan Goke of Rio Rancho, Joshua Bustamante of Albuquerque, Michael Goke of Rio Rancho, Hannah Goke of Rio Rancho, and Nathanael Goke of Rio Rancho, and father of her children, Albert M. Goke of Las Vegas; her sister, Martha Urioste and husband, Tony, of Grants; brothers, Clifford Duran and wife, Amie, of Edgewood, Ray Duran of Albuquerque, sister-in-law, Tommie Duran of Grants, and numerous nephews and nieces. MaryAnn was a day-care provider for many years and considered each of the children she looked after as one of her own. All of these children still remember her today as their "Nana." She enjoyed sewing, baking, reading and spending time with her family and friends.A celebration of life for MaryAnn will be held on her birthday, Monday, May 2 at 7 p.m. at Grace Outreach Center; 2900 Southern Blvd. SE in Rio Rancho. A Christian service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Heart of David Worship Center, with Pastor Mark Sena reciting at 333 Peggy Lane in Las Vegas with a burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Las Vegas.Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Goke, Jonathan Goke, Joshua Bustamante, Michael Goke, Martin Urioste, Michael Urioste, Lenny Duran, and Bobby Duran. Honorary pallbearers will be Hannah Goke, Nathanael Goke, Caroline Alires, Loren Urioste, Jose Urioste, Chris Urioste, Fina Martinez, Bertha Coca, and Veronica Sapien.
