She was born on November 30, 1924 in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth White Kissinger. Mary was the wife of the late Harry L. Shoop Jr. who passed away July 23, 1973. Mrs. Shoop was a cook at Fairview Golf Course for 35 years before retiring. She was a member of St. John's U.M. church, Lebanon. Surviving is her daughter, Susan L, wife of John Kercher, Lebanon; son, Bill, husband of Glenda Shoop, Hershey; granddaughter, Suzanne M. Kercher, companion of Wes White, Lancaster; sisters, Georgine Hoke of Annville and Jackie, wife of Jerry Henning, Lebanon; numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by a sister, Katheryn Emerich; and brothers, Walter and Leonard Kissinger. A funeral service will be held in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. with a viewing from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
