Mary RichardsWest Des Moines, IowaMary A. Richards, 84, passed away peacefully at Heritage Court in West Des Moines on Monday, November 21, 2016. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Des Moines. Mary's family will greet visitors after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. A private family burial will be held at a later date in Falls City, Nebraska. Local arrangements entrusted to Iowa Cremation - Waukee.Mary was born on June 21, 1932, and grew up in Falls City, Nebraska. She married Frank Dennis in 1950 and they were blessed with 6 children. Mary enjoyed arts and crafts but most important to her was her time spent with her beloved family and friends.Mary is survived by her children, Pam (Ryk) Dennis, Michelle (Ralph) Schmitt, Yvonne Dennis, Frank (Gidget) Dennis, John (Val) Dennis and Kelly (Seth) Dennis; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Leo Roy; and her brother John.Mary's family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Heritage Court and HCI Hospice Care for the loving care they provided to her.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mary's honor may be directed to Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd or to HCI Hospice Care Services.Online condolences may be made to www.IowaCremation.com.
