Mary Margaret PatronikKnoxville, TNMary Margaret Patronik, age 92, of Knoxville, died peacefully at her home, Friday, December 9, 2016. Mary was born on May 31, 1924 to the late Leo and Florence Federer. Mary was a devout and practicing Roman Catholic at Sacred Heart Cathedral, where she was a Sacristen and Eucharist Minister. After years of raising seven children, Mary resumed her nursing career as a Registered Nurse at Baptist Hospital.Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Pat Patronik; sons, Jack and Jim; and sister, Betty Federer. She is survived by her children, Nick Patronik, Mary Jane Locke and husband, Greg, Richard Patronik and wife, Alison, Patricia Long and fiance', Norman Adams, Annette Atchley and husband, Larry; 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank loving caregiver, Karen Harrison and Amedisys Hospice nurses, Courtney and Brenda.A celebration Mass will be held 10:00 AM Friday at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
