Mary Brooks, 73, of Houston, Texas, passed Friday, February 14, 2020. Mary was born to George W. Patton, and Annie Mae Johnson, May 23, 1946 in Athens, Texas.

Mary attended Yates High School in 3rd ward Houston. Mary worked Housekeeping at Texas Childrens Hospital until she retired in 2011.

Mary is survived by her brother Felly Thompson, her 3 children: Margaret Oliver, Connie Patton Kemp, and Anthony Patton. 7 grandchildren: grandson Byron Jones, wife Yentl Jones, granddaughter Sheena Chaney, husband Broderick Chaney, grandson Timothy Oliver, wife Jacqueline Chrissy Oliver, grandson Theodore Oliver, wife Sasha Oliver, granddaughter Latoya Davis, grandson Trent Oliver, fiancee Alexis Johnson, and granddaughter Sylvia Parker, fiancee Jordan Henderson.  She is also survived by 18 greatgrand children, Izaiah Jones, Xavier Jones, Byron Jones III, Zaniel Jones, Bria Chaney, BriAnn Chaney, Briara Chaney, Brooke Chaney, Tisha Oliver, Tasha Oliver, Danielle Oliver, Azeal Oliver, Myriah Hall, Carlton Hall, Tehki Oliver, Tristan Oliver, Jason Henderson, Journee Henderson.
