Keipe, Mary LouMary Lou Keipe, age 89, of Brandon, formerly of Green Lake, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Marvin's Manor in Brandon. She was born on June 18, 1927, a daughter of Arthur and Dora (Hannemann) Hensley. She worked at Camp Robinhood Girl's Camp as a counselor from 1945 to 1946. Mary Lou met Harvey Keipe when he returned home from serving his country during WWII. On October 26, 1946, they were united in marriage in Milwaukee. Mary Lou and Harvey had been the managers at the Peacock Cottage on Big Green Lake for over 65 years. They had lived in Green Lake since 1946. Mary Lou was a member of Home & Community Education for 71 years. Her whole world was taking care of everyone. Mary Lou is survived by her children, Julie Kenyon of Waunakee, Kevin (Kristal) Keipe of Green Lake; 6 grandchildren, Troy (Jenn) Bilderback, Mark (Caitlin) Bilderback; Kara(Tim) Baumann, Kody Keipe and Teale Kaenel, Korey Keipe; Robin Kenton; 6 great grandchildren, Jack, Macy; Dylan, Parker; Kayleigh and Gunnar; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Dora Hensley; husband, Harvey Keipe in 2009; daughter, Carol and her husband, Roger Petit; 2 sisters, Harriet and her husband, Ed Dunn, Irene and her husband, Edward McCabe. A memorial service for Mary Lou Keipe will take place on Monday, March 20, 2017, at 12:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m., at Federated Church of Green Lake, 489 Scott St., in Green Lake.
