Mary L. DaileyFollowing a lengthy illness, Mary L. Dailey, 59, of Tallahassee, peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017.A daughter of the late John and Wilma Louise Stuparitz McKevitt, she was born on February 24, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois. She was a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist and AHEC Assistant Director at the FSU College of Medicine. She attended Saint Louis Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling, football and hockey, animals of all kinds, including wildlife, but most importantly friends and family.Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Lonnie Dailey; son, Robert B. Dailey (wife, Robin); grandchildren, Kelsey Dailey and Conner Dailey; siblings, John McKevitt, Frank McKevitt, Mary Jane Frazier and Betty Ross (husband, Henry). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a large work family she called her own.Per her request, no formal services will be held. However, friends and family may stop by the residence to have a toast in Mary's memory. The family is requesting no flowers; however, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Association, or to a charity of your choosing.
