Reistad, Mary Jean (Nee Fuller) Joined her husband in Eternal Life on February 17, 2017, surrounded by family, at the age of 86. Mary was born on July 24, 1930 in Shorewood to the late Henry C. Fuller and the late Mary C. Fuller. Beloved wife of 63 years of the late Earl C. Reistad. Sweet mother of Laurie (Jim) Nagle, Mary (the late Nick) Farrell, Greg (Barb), and Anne (John) Burtness. Loving grandmother of Madeline (Jake) Schmidt, Peter (Christina) Nagle, Hannah Nagle; Nick (Kim) Reistad, Chris Reistad, Becca Reistad, Michelle Reistad; Allison (Dan Brien) Burtness, Heather (Michael) Koller, and Zach (fiance Hailey) Burtness. Adoring great-grandmother of 9. Sister of Peg (Dave) Franz and Hank (Diane) Fuller. Sister-in-law of Dale Reistad, Audrey Olson, the late Vernon and the late Rogers. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Mary Jean was a kind, caring, faith-filled woman. She loved her country, her Shorewood community (especially the Shorewood library), her home and her family. After attending Atwater School and Shorewood High, Mary earned her bachelors degree in home economics education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She met her future husband at a Kappa Delta sorority function during her freshman year, and they were together ever since. Mary devoted her life to her family. She also shared her many gifts outside the home. Mary and Earl were active members of North Shore Presbyterian Church where she served as Church Secretary for many years. Later she became office manager of the Milwaukee chapter of the Junior League. Mary was a fun and genereous hostess and welcomed many to her beautiful home and table. She blessed us all with her wit, humor, and love, and she willl be missed by many. Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 25, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery, Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, followed by a service honoring Mary's life at 11:00 AM.
