Stafford, Mary JaneMary Jane Stafford, age 76, passed away after a courageous battle with Dementia on Thursday, March 30, 2017. She was born on December 21, 1940 to the late Raymond and Cornelia Weiss in Stevens Point and resided in Neenah. Mary Jane married Dick Stafford on September 15, 1962 and enjoyed 54 years of marriage together. She was a person who was always active throughout her life. Mary Jane made friends easily and enjoyed staying in touch with all of them. She was an avid traveler with Dick. They especially loved visiting Ireland and going to Disney with their grandchildren. Mary Jane enjoyed playing the piano, volunteering for Meals-On-Wheels, and playing tennis. She was a kind and patient person who was very generous with her time. What she loved most though was her family. Mary Jane deeply treasured the time she was able to spend with her children, grandchildren, and friends. She is survived by her husband Dick Stafford; children: Peggy (Peter) Faust, Katy (Jim) Hanson, Bill (Sharon) Stafford; grandchildren: Nick, Mitchell, Zach, Joe, Jake, Ella, Meghan, Sean; and sister Kathy (Steve) Nolan.A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
