Gallagher, Mary H.Mary H. Gallagher, 80, Green Bay, died Tuesday, June 13, 2017 following a brief illness, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on March 9, 1937, in Green Bay to Wallace and Gertrude (Franken) Stangel.Mary graduated from St. Joseph Academy, Class of 1954. She later attended nursing school in Oak Park, IL and St. Norbert College and was employed at the De Pere Clinic for short time. She met the love of her life, Patrick Gallagher during high school and they were married on June 15, 1957, at National Shrine of St. Joseph in De Pere, and enjoyed 60 years of marriage. Mary was a full-time mother and homemaker, she also loved gardening, skiing, and bird watching, but one of the things she loved most was sailing and lighthouses. Mary enjoyed life to the fullest with many enjoyable trips with the family and later on lovely trips with Pat. She and Patrick were members of the Elks Club, Green Bay Yacht Club and Coast Guard Auxiliary. She was the most beloved wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma ever!Mary is survived by her husband, Patrick; her children and their spouses, Barb Gallagher, Debbie (John) Lasee, Theresa (Scott) Savage, John (Jean) Gallagher; grandchildren, Jennifer (Robert) Deggendorf, Adam (Jamie) Lasee, Emily (Andrew) Schwark, Anthony Lasee, Leigha (Matt) Greve, John Gallagher, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Anna, Jaxson, Anderson, Charlie, Ellis, Nolan, (and a great-granddaughter on the way); siblings, Therese Trost, Bernadette (Dan) Connely-Hock, Joseph Stangel; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Sarah Lasee; sister, Margie Goeben-Ostry; and brother-in-law, Don Trost.Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, followed by the Parish Wake Service at 7 p.m. Friends may also call at St. Joseph Catholic Church, corner of Ninth St. and 12th Ave, from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday. The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Entombment will be in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
