Mary FancherHEATH: A graveside service for Mary Theresa Fancher will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Newark Memorial Gardens, 4244 Marion Rd, Newark, OH 43055. Family will greet friends from 11am-12:30 at Brucker Kishler Funeral Home, prior to the service, 985 N. 21st Street, Newark, OH 43055.Mary, age 79, of Heath, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 surrounded by her family and friends at the Selma Markowitz Center. She was born on November 5, 1937 to the late Benjamin and Mildred (nee Adair) Mattison in Hobbs, New Mexico. Mary loved spending time with her friends in Fort Clark Springs RV Park, Brackettville, TX. She also enjoyed crafts, trivia, Jeopardy, traveling, and chocolate. More than anything, Mary loved keeping in touch with her family. Mary is survived by her sons, Michael (Daniela nee Fort) Fancher, of Merrimack, NH, Robert (Tammy nee Bartlett) Fancher, of Greenwood, AR, and Wesley (Cheryl nee Garrett) Fancher; grandchildren, Dan, Elise, Kayla (Mark) Smith, Josh, Mattison, Shelby, Kyle, Brittany, Courtnee, Michael (Elaine), and Amanda; great grandchildren, Tegan, Gavin, Clayton, and Lily; and sister, Marjorie (Buzz) Ramsey.In addition to her parents, Mary is also preceded in death by her husband, Roy D. Fancher, and brothers, Frank, Melvin, and Ben.The family would like to send special thanks to all the aids and nurses that took care of her over the years, they became her family and close friends.
