Mary Catherine BuckleyNEWARK: Mary Catherine Buckley, 95, of Newark, formerly of Roseville, died at 8:10 p.m. Monday, September 1, 2014 at Autumn Care Center in Newark. She was born on January 14, 1919 in Roseville, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Josephine (Brown) Guy. She loved music, traveling, and playing euchre.She is survived by one son, Jim (Patti) Buckley of Newark; one granddaughter, Valerie Buckley-Deedrick of Newark; sister-in-law, Kate Guy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pearl "Buck" Buckley; two brothers, James and Robert Guy. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Friday September 5, 2014 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage. Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
