Mary Catherine Carey, Jr.April 16, 2017Mary Catherine Carey, Jr., 69 of Cape Coral, FL passed away on Sunday April 16, 2017. She was born on March 15, 1948 in Chicago, IL to Robert Charles Carey and Mary Catherine Prendergast Carey. She worked for many years for Publix Santa Barbara Centre Supermarket as a Front Service Clerk.Mary is survived by her loving family including her mother, Mary "Penny" Carey; siblings, Robert (Julie) Carey, John Michael (Yohanna) Carey, Maureen (John) Burris, Daniel (Mary) Carey, Sheila (JP) Drengler; James (Cynthia) Carey, William (Sherry) Carey, Eileen (Thomas) Kallin, Martin (Robin) Carey, Margaret (Joseph) Fuhr; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Robert. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:30 pm on Thursday, April 20th at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 3:00 p.m. at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 1922 SW 20th Ave Cape Coral.
