Mary L. BreasureDelmar-Mary L. Breasure, 79, of Delmar, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.She was born on January 10, 1938 in Salisbury, a daughter of the late Robert and Marion (Youngblood) Malone.Mrs. Breasure enjoyed her years as a school bus driver for the Delmar school district as well as Lil' Red Hen. She supported and loved her family's involvement in the horse racing industry as well as being her children's biggest fans on the athletic fields at Delmar High School. Her hand crocheted afghans are treasured by many family members and friends.She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jay L. Breasure; children, Debbie McClemore of North Carolina, Teresa Farlow (Greg) of Laurel, Dusty Mills (Kathy Whitehead) of Salisbury, Bobby Breasure (Donna) of Delmar, Jeffrey Breasure (Robin) of Delmar, and Michelle Niblett (Keith) of Delmar; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; siblings, Jenny Joseph, Toot Stevenson, Linda Candy, Sissy Wade, and Bobby Malone; and several nieces and nephews.A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Line Church Cemetery in Delmar.Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
