Mary Ann Toft Mary Ann Toft (nee Balice) passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the age of 79 years. She was born on June 8, 1934 in Racine to Joseph and Anna (nee Sarto) Balice. Mary was incredibly devoted to her family. She began her career teaching, however, made family her career when her children were born. She loved spending all her free time with them crafting, vacationing, and just loving life. Mary was also a very faithful Catholic. She was a longtime member of Holy Angels Catholic Church where she taught religious education for many years. Mary will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved her. In addition to her family and faith, Mary also had a dedication to being active. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, and playing racquetball and was also a member of the West Bend Country Club. Mary tried to stay as active as possible even through her illness. Mary is survived by her husband of 55 years, David; children Christine (Ron) Reichert and Anne (Ken) Sillars; grandchildren Kayla, Heidi, Rose Reichert, and Cory and Ashly Sillars. She is further survived by her brother James Balice and sister Susan (Ed) Ladwig. Mary is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Anna Balice. A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 138 N. 8th Ave. in West Bend with Fr. Gerald Brittain presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 AM until 10: 45 AM on Saturday, October 12, 2013. Burial to follow at Holy Angels Catholic Cemetery.
