Menzel, Mary AnnMary Ann Menzel, 88, formerly of Fond du Lac, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Meadowview Assisted Living in Two Rivers, WI. Mary was born on June 21, 1928, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Sigmund and Clara (Graikowski) Tessner.On September 9, 1950 she married Frank F. Menzel at St. Peter Catholic Church in Oshkosh, WI. Mary was a graduate of St. Agnes School of Nursing in 1949. She was employed as a nurse in various places in the Fox Valley and in Milwaukee. She was a member of Holy Family, St. Peter, where she was a member of the Christian Women Society. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, flowers and loved her time with the grandchildren. Mary is survived by four children, Patricia (Alan) Komoroski of Two Rivers, Peter (Susan) Menzel of Owatonna, MN, David (Kinga) Menzel of Waukesha, WI and James (special friend, Amy Rybicki) Menzel of West Allis. She is further survived by ten grandchildren, Ryan Arnold, Chelcie (Shawn) Olsen, Therese (Chaz) Carlson, Jacob Menzel, Catherine Menzel, Roxanna Menzel, Anthony (Britni) and Christopher Menzel, Robert and Andrew Ebner Bridgman; sister-in-law, Dolores Tessner; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceding Mary in death are Frank, her husband, Roger, her grandson and Richard Tessner, her brother.Visitation: The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 9:00 until 10:45 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Peter, WI.Service: At 11:00 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
