KINSTON - Mary Anderson Gray, 81, died peacefully in her home on Tuesday, December 6, 2011. She was born on November 22, 1930, in Wayne County to the late Ed and Nellie Gray. She was a wonderful and thoughtful wife, mother, and friend who will be dearly missed by many. She was a member of Bethel FWB Church. Mrs. Gray is survived by her two sons, Eddie Gray and his wife Kathy, of Kinston, N.C., Nick Gray of Charlotte, N.C.; one daughter, Diane Gray of Melbourne, Fla.; granddaughter Kimberly Gray; grandson Brandon Cirilla of Jacksonville, N.C. who is proudly serving our country in the United States Marines; brother Jimmy Lane; sister Betty Mae Bland; sister-in-law Mary Ellen Anderson; good friends Peggy and Wally Liles; as well as many special family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 9, 2011, at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Archie Ratliff and Jackie Ham officiating. Burial will take place following the funeral at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston, N.C.
