Our Loving Mother Mary Alice Lopez Cantu went to be with the Lord on Thursday July 12, 2018 She was proceeded in death by her Loving Husband of 48 years, John Joseph Cantu. Mary Alice was born in San Antonio Texas on December 2 1929.She is the daughter of John Lopez (D) & Margaret Hill Lopez(D). Sister to Tom Lopez(D), Cindy Marley, Cecelia Morris, Robert Lopez, & David Lopez(D). She is survived by her children Linda Cantu, Anna Gonzalez(Hank), John Limon(Susan), & John Louis Cantu. Grandchildren Josiah Cantu Brandon Gonzalez, Nicco Cantu, San Juan Limon III, Roberto Limon, & Brianna Limon. Mary Alice was Mom, Tia, Grandma, & a surrogate Grandma to numerous nephews, nieces, & children who she baby sat over the years. Everyone loved Mom because she had a good heart & was always there for others in need. A celebration of her life and the Holy Rosary will be Monday July 16th  at Angelus Funeral Home, 1119 N st Mary’s st San Antonio Tx Mass services will be at Santa Julia Catholic Church, 3010 Lyon Rd. Burial will be Tuesday July 17th at 2:00pm Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd. in San Antonio, Texas.
