HATFIELD – Mary "Jean" (Beckort) Aders, 81, passed away at Millers Merry Manor on Oct 29, 2016.Jean was born on June 22, 1935, to the late Carl "Casey" and Beatrice (Wilkinson) Jones.Jean was an assistant manager at Holiday Foods in Rockport before her retirement. A past member of the Rockport American Legion Auxiliary and attended Baker's Creek Baptist Church in Eureka.Jean is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers; James Robert Jones, Lewis Wayne Jones, and Clayton "Punkin" Jones.Jean is survived by her three sons, Roy "Wayne" (Nora) Beckort, Randy (Christy) Beckort, Billy (Lisa) Beckort; grandchildren, Brian, Brandon, Nicholas, Natasha, Jason, Tiffany and Joseph Beckort, several great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Stephens, Annie (Ted) Holderbaugh, Vickie (Larry) Smith, Connie (Rick) Lester; one brother, Carson (Brigot) Jones; sister-in-law, Ruth Jones and many nieces and nephews.The family would like to thank the staff of Miller's for the care given to Jean during her stay there and to special friend, Shelby Lester for the kindness to Jean and her family.Services will be Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 11 a.m. at Boultinghouse Funeral Home, with Rev. Carl Jones and Larry Smith officiating. Burial will be in James Parker Cemetery in Hatfield.
