Marvin L. Wienke1932 - 2014Marvin L. Wienke, 81, of Marshfield, Wis., died on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, at the Golden Living Center Three Oaks in Marshfield.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hewitt with Pastor Dean T. Pingel officiating. Burial will be in Brooklawn Memory Garden Cemetery in the town of Richfield, Wood County. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post # 54 of Marshfield at the cemetery. Visitations will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday at the Rembs Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Avenue, Marshfield, Wis.) and again at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of services.Marvin was born on Dec.1, 1932, in Waukegan, Ill., to Wesley and Esther (Grulich) Wienke. He was united in marriage to RoAnn D. Doerring on Oct. 6, 1956, in Kenosha. Marvin served in the United State Air Force from 1952 until his honorable discharge in 1956 during the Korean War. They farmed in the town of Arpin, retiring in 1993. They moved to Marshfield, living at Cedar Rail until entering the nursing facility in 2010.He is survived by his wife RoAnn of Marshfield; children, Robert (Melody Swanson) Wienke of Dekalb, Ill., Debbie (Ken) Forrest of Marshfield, Ken Wienke of Marshfield, Barb (Joe) Martell of Marshfield, and Richard (Tiffany) Wienke of Luxemburg; 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He is further survived by three brothers, Alfred (Eleanor) Wienke of Gurnee, Ill., Floyd (Sally) Wienke of Gurnee, Ill., Donald (Char) Wienke of Arpin, Wis.; and a sister-in-law Natalie Wienke of Rosholt, Wis.Besides his parents and in-laws, Raymond and Hedy Doerring, he was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Sue Wienke, grandson Timothy Altmann, two brothers, Arnold in infancy and Gerald.In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established at a later date.Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
