Duchow , Marvin J.Marvin J. Duchow, 91, Stratford, died on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Ministry St. Joseph's Palliative Care, Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, Feb. 13, 2017 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hewitt, where the visitation will be from 12:30 pm until service time. Rev. Dean Pingel will officiate. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Marvin was born on May 7, 1925 in Marshfield, to John and Myrtle (Gunderson) Duchow. He married Geraldine A. Wundrow on August 24, 1946 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hewitt and they were blessed to celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary last year. Marvin had been employed at Prince Corporation in Marshfield for many years until his retirement. In his younger years, he enjoyed fast pitch softball and restoring autos and later in life he enjoyed crafting lawn ornaments. He was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the church choir. He is survived by his wife Gerrie and their children, Sally Becker and Kenny Duchow, all of Stratford and grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jesse (Laci) Becker and their children, Mikey and Lily; and Tracy (Jamie) Schutz and their daughter, Jessica. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings, Irene Duchow as a child, Rueben Duchow and Marion Kibbel. The family wishes to thank the staff of Three Oaks Golden Living Center and St. Joseph's Palliative Care for the Kind and loving care that was given.
