Georgetown Roberts, Martha J.,Martha J. (White) Roberts, 94, died Sunday, July 30, 2017. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and a proud homemaker who enjoyed raising her 10 children, crocheting, and needle point. Martha was born on January 12, 1923 in Owensboro, KY to the late Thomas E. and Margaret (Drake) White. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Roberts, Sr., and her children, John D., Jr., Thomas, Bill, and Melissa Roberts.She is survived by her children, Michael, Patrick (Dale), Stephen, Jeffrey (Peggy), and Byron (Cheryl) Roberts, and Missy Popp (Tony) and Michelle Portwood (Mark); 22 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln. New Albany, IN). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Friday, August 4, 2017 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help with burial to follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery in Owensboro, Kentucky.
