Martha Ann Turner LUBBOCK-Martha Ann Turner passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017. We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life of 79 years on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Lake Ridge Chapel. Martha was born on June 20, 1937, to Edgar Leon and Zona Mae Cromer in Lubbock and graduated from Lubbock High School. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education from Texas Tech University. On March 12, 1982, she married C.W. Dub Turner in Lubbock. Martha taught English and was a diagnostician for many years. The last seventeen years of her career were spent as the Special Education Director for Frenship ISD. She was a member of Indiana Ave. Baptist Church. Martha was an avid Texas Tech football fan, leading the cheers at Raider Ranch during the games. She fulfilled most every dream she ever had including travelling around the world and spending time with her horses at her barn. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Martha is survived by her two children, Berhl Robertson, Jr., and wife, Traci, and Valli Robertson; five grandchildren, Bailey Robertson, Logan Robertson, Marissa Duplessis and husband, Steve, Jr., Laramie Keith, and Kiley Keith; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Darline Lowe, and Karen Cromer.
