Marshall HaefnerMarshall Carl Haefner, 76, of New Athens, Ill.; born on February 3, 1941 in Belleville, Ill.; passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Freeburg Care Center in Freeburg, Ill. Mr. Haefner was a retired truck driver for ABF. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of the Teamsters and the New Athens Sportsmen's Club. Marshall loved to ride his motorcycle.He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Roy Haefner; his mother, Edythe, nee Wilson, Waeltz; and his step-father, Albert Waeltz. He is survived by his son, Travis (Abby) Haefner of New Athens, Ill.; his grandsons, Blane Carl Haefner and Miller Dean Haefner; one sister, Alberta Ray of Dupo, Ill.; two brothers, Allen (Karen) Waeltz of Marissa, Ill. and Duane (Jane Mueth) Waeltz of Marissa, Ill.
