Marquis was born on April 20,1986 in Pine Bluff, Ar. To Leroy Franklin and the late Phyllis Robertson. Marquis spent some time of his younger years in New Jersey and Dallas Tx with his mother and siblings until they moved back to Arkansas.
At an early age Marquis professed his faith in Jesus Christ and joined Kingdom of God Ministries under leadership of his uncle, Pastor Alvin Robertson.
Marquis knew what he wanted out of life he attended Job Corp and received a certification in refrigeration. Marquis was smart & ambitious. He loved his family; his beautiful wife Leslie Franklin. His five children Karen Franklin, Antwan Harris (Patricia Harris), Brittany Green, Pratanya Green, Demetrick Green (Deswan Green), Ricardo Sykes. 11 beautiful grandchildren. Kentrell, Kaylon, Kauri, Corey, Jordan, Caroline, London, Harmony, Journey, Demetria, Sy\'Morah.
Marquis did anything to make it happen and provide for his family. He had various of jobs in construction business; but he was mainly know for his TASTEFUL COOKING. He loved cooking so much he started his own business named \"Taste Buds\" a little of everything. Soul food in which he shared along with his father.

He was proceeded in death by his mother Phyllis Robertson; brother, Randen Hayes and Grandparents: Rev. Ira and Ethel Robertson, A.D Franklin and Ruby Battles. His life will forever be cherished by his wife Leslie, His Father Leroy, his children, his grandchildren, His siblings: Billy Williams (Tanisha), LaTaveya Vault (Andre); Ke\'Drick Mallet and Ke\'Undra Gilder. A host of devoted aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
