Marlie Bernaldo Agustin was granted her angel wings on September 7, 2012, she was 45 years old. Her final days was surrounded by her loving husband Fredy Agustin, daughter Sheena Marie Agustin, son Frederick Agustin & beloved families that she had touched throughout her life. Marlie was born on February 18, 1967 in Lezo Aklan, Philippines. She arrived in Juneau, Alaska in January of 1980 and moved to San Francisco, California in mid 80's where she met the love of her life Fredy. They both moved back to Juneau, AK. They got married and had two lovely kids, Frederick and Sheena. They made Juneau their home; she worked at Foodland Drug Store, KeyBank, and First National Bank of Alaska. She was one of the nine children of late Jaime & Elena Bernaldo. She leaves her beloved husband Fredy, her son Frederick, daughter Sheena and grandkids Rochelle & Jarry Maghinay, all of Juneau, AK. She is also survived by her brothers & sisters; Lourdes Skeek, Lolita Tagaban, both of Petersburg, AK; Teodosia Cipriano, Nerio Bernaldo, Myrna Gonzales, Francisco Bernaldo & Joseph Bernaldo, all of Juneau, AK. Her Aunt, Teodora R. Gomez & Uncle Miguel Dela Rosa, both of Philippines, and along with countless Aunties, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews from all over the globe and many friends whom were blessed to have known her. Marlie will be sorely missed, never forgotten and her character will live on. She will be remembered by family and friends as loving wife, mother, sister and grandma. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 15, at St. Paul Catholic Church at 10am; reception will be announced after the mass.
