Riehl, Marlene J. (Nee Zochert) Entered Heaven on Friday September 29, 2017, at the age of 79; after a long and courageous battle of colon cancer. She was born on August 26, 1938 to the late Earl P. and the late Leona L. Zochert, and was a 1956 graduate of East High School in Green Bay, WI. Marlene is survived by David V. Riehl, her beloved husband of 58 years; loving mother of Mark (Wendy) Riehl and Deb (George) Weber, proud grandmother of Jacob Riehl and Jessica (Jeff) Meyer and cherished Oma of Alex and Dani Weber, she was recently blessed with great-grandson Fredrick Meyer. She is further survived by sister Beatrice Froelich and brother Larry Zochert, (fiance Cathy Johnson); cousin Ruth (Carl) Stang and many loving nieces, nephews, and a multitude of life-long friends. Preceded in death by brother-in-law William Froelich and sister-in-law Diane Zochert. Marlene worked part-time then full-time for 20 years at the West Allis West Milwaukee School District. She was an avid traveler; two of her favorite locations were Branson, MO and Orlando, FL. She was active in many organizations. And in her free time she loved to sew, crochet, do crafts, and make personalized all occasion greeting cards for family and friends. Additionally she collected stuffed bears and glass slippers. She actively volunteered at MAM and many local theatres and donated to numerous non-profit and religious organizations. Marlene was one of the most caring and considerate people, her life mantra was to put the needs of others before herself; and that was evident until Jesus called her home. A service honoring her life and memory will begin with visitation on Saturday October 7, 2017 at the FUNERAL HOME from 10:00 AM until the time of service at Noon. The Rev Keith Johnson officiating.
