Bliskey, Marlene J.Marlene J. Bliskey, 80, Green Bay, died Sunday, March 26, 2017 at a local hospital. She was born on March 20, 1937, in Fennimore, WI to Edward S. and Blanche M. Walker.Marlene was a member of First United Methodist Church and participated in the WOW Bible Study. She also volunteered in the church's food pantry. Marlene enjoyed gardening, shopping, reading, and home decorating.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Juli and Tom Tate, Abrams; son, William "Bill" Bliskey, Little Suamico; granddaughter, Emma; sister and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Dick Austin, Mineral Point; brothers and a sister-in-law: Gerald and Mary Walker, Delavan; and Arlyn Walker; her partner, Robert Rose, Green Bay; nieces and nephews.Marlene was preceded in death by her husband, E. William Blinskey, in 1977; her parents, Edward and Blanche Walker; and a brother, James Walker.Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. The Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Rev. Dave Wilkinson officiating. Her cremated remains will be buried in Hillside Cemetery in Lancaster at 1:30 p.m. Monday.
