Johannes, 58, formerly of Fond du Lac and current resident of West Fargo, North Dakota, died on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Sanford Hospital, in West Fargo, North Dakota.He was born on August 27, 1959, the son of Rev. John H. and Joanne Paulmann Johannes in Mobridge, South Dakota. He attended a Vocational Workshop Training Center in Fargo, North Dakota. Mark was a member of Gift of God Lutheran Church in Mapelton, North Dakota. He loved bowling, swimming and horse therapy.He is survived by his parents, John and Joanne Johannes of Neenah; his siblings: David (Karen) Johannes of Eau Claire, WI, Timothy (Brenda) Johannes of Fond du Lac, John Johannes of Detroit Lakes, MN, Beth (Jonathan) Sandeen of Chippewa Falls, Deborah (Mark) King of Appleton, WI, Michael Johannes of Menesha, WI, six nieces, two nephews and four grandnephews.He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.VISITATION: Friends may call on Saturday, October 7, 2017, from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Luther Memorial Church, 134 21 Street, Fond du Lac.FUNERAL: Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. at Luther Memorial Church, 134 21 Street, Fond du Lac, with Pastor Neal Radichel officiating.
