Mislinski, Mark E.Mark E. Mislinski Sr., age 75, of Menasha, passed away from a battle with bladder cancer on March 23, 2017. Mark was born on July 21, 1941, son of Edward and Louise Mislinski. Mark also proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was employed by WE Energies (WI Electric) for 35 years. He married Sheila A. Schinke on September 29, 1962. They were married for 53 years before her death on August 18, 2016. Mark and Sheila resided in Combined Locks for 22 years and purchased a cottage on Lake Winnebago, remodeled it and made it their home sweet home.Survivors include two daughters: Michelle (Missy) and Steve Huisman of Stockbridge and Marnie Mislinski and boyfriend Todd Van Roy of Kimberly. Three grandsons: Matthew Huisman and girlfriend Sarah Oehm, Eric Huisman, and Thomas and Amanda Albers. Siblings: Mary Steckbauer, Paul Mislinski, Peter and Joyce Mislinski, and Anne Hardy. Brothers and sisters-in-law: Russell Schinke, Donna and Robert Wydeven, and Barbara and William Potter.In addition to his wife, Mark was preceded in death by his son Mark E. Jr., his parents, in-laws Robert and Olive Shinke, and brother-in-law, Paul Steckbauer.Funeral services will be held at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017, for Mark and Sheila, followed by full military honors. There will also be a celebration of life held at Lake Park Tavern after the services.A special thank you to Rennes Health Care and Heartland Hospice for the compassionate care given to Dad. We know that these seven months without Momma were hard for you. We hope you two are on the lake catching fish and enjoying some beers. We will miss you Poppa, but glad that you are not suffering anymore. We will miss our Sunday cribbage and "31"card games with you. Rest in peace dear one. We love you so much Poppa!
