CRAWFORD, Marjory (nee Anderson) 1926 – 2017Marjory passed away peacefully on August 4, 2017. She was born on January 21, 1926 in Dundee, Scotland to John and Mary Anderson. Marjory met her husband and soulmate Clarence Crawford in London during WWII and were married in 1945. They returned to Canada after the war and raised a family of three in Calgary. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence (1986), her daughter Donna Darby (1999) and son-in-law Ed Sparrow (2002). Left to celebrate her life are her daughters Patricia Sparrow and Marilyn Torrens, along with sons-in-law Martin Darby and Tom Torrens; nine grandchildren and fourteen great- grandchildren. Marjory was involved with Canadian War Brides Association and West Hillhurst Go-Getters Association for many years. Marjory was a gentle soul who will be missed by all who knew her. There will be a private family gathering at a later date. The family would like to express sincere appreciation to the staff of Mayfair Care Centre for the care and compassion they gave Marjory during her final years.
