Marjorie Rude, 92Marjorie Rude, 92, of Rossville passed away Saturday October 29, 2016 at Milner Community Health Center. She was born on February 29, 1924 in Middlefork, the daughter of the late Frank and Edith (Cohee) Whiteman. On October 24, 1947 in Middlefork, Marjorie married Dorville Rude whom preceded her in 2011.Marjorie was a 1942 graduate of Forest High School and after school she worked at Delco Electronics in Kokomo during World War II. Then later she worked as a clerk for the Sedalia Post Office for 20 years. She was a member of the Rossville United Methodist Church and she was a former Sunday School Teacher. Marjorie was also member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Alcoa Retiree's Club, Owen Township Home Extension Club and a 50 year member of the Beard Eastern Star. She was a dedicated house wife, mother and grandmother.Marjorie is survived by her son, Richard E. (Margaret) of Dayton, Ohio, daughter, Brenda S. (Bruce) Stevens of Rossville, 7 grandchildren, Megan ( John) Jernovics, Christopher Rude, Kyle (Tanice) Gustafson, Emily ( Luke) Caenepeel, Kirk Gustafson, Blair (Gretchen) Stevens and Briana (Jesse) Haltom, 9 great-grandchildren, Grace, Emma, Doyle, Sydney, Dylan, Reese, Jaxson, Bryson and Everly.She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Joyce Gustafson, 4 sisters and 1 brother.Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Genda funeral home Rossville chapel, with Rev. Bob Rascka officiating, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Genda funeral home Rossville chapel.
