Marilyn R. GriggsPreston, Idaho - Marilyn Rich Griggs, 81, passed away suddenly at her home in Preston, Idaho on Wednesday, September 3, 2014. She was born on April 17, 1933 in Ogden, Utah to Reed Jacobs and Alice Lee Rich. Marilyn was well known as the Caramel Lady and she made excellent candy and treats. She enjoyed knitting and was a member of the Knit-wits. She enjoyed her friendships in that group. She loved craft fairs as well. She enjoyed spending time with her family when she could. She was a great friend and will be missed.She is survived by her husband, Ted W. Griggs, of Preston; her children Michael (Joanne) Griffin, of Douglas, Wyo.; Mark Griffin, of Las Vegas, Nev.; Brad Swart of Vacaville, Calif.; Rene (Fred) Brewster, of Morgan Hill, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister LaRae (Terry) Allred, of Davenport, Wash.; and two brothers Jim (Loye) Rich, of Brookings, Ore.; and Tom (Linda) Rich, of Mesquite, Nev.;A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 S. 800 East in Preston. A visitation will be held from 1-1:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com.
