Marilyn Kent JonesPANAMA CITY, FL: Marilyn Kent Jones, 76, of Panama City, FL passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016.Mrs. Jones was born on January 31, 1940 to the late Dempsey and Grace Kent in Panama City, FL. She was an educator in the Bay County School System serving several area schools including Mosley and Arnold teaching English. She loved educating others and all things organic. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her grandchildren.Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Thomas Jones; her three sons, Greg Kent Todd, Troy Todd (Tina) Kyle Todd (Beverly); two daughters, Alecia Jones, Andrea Jones; her two sisters, Carolyn England (Oscar), Shirley Daffin; her grandchildren, Caleb Todd, Morgan Todd, Madison Todd, Destin Todd, Andrew Tanner, Marissa Tanner, Shawn Bartlett, Jessica Bartlett and her sister-in-law, Treva Jones.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Southerland Family Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Fondren officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
